Buchanan wins three at Brandywine

Brandywine hosted Buchanan and Coloma in a double-dual meet Monday, with Buchanan winning three of its four meets.
All three teams ran the course together, but the scores were split into three meets, with each team facing the other two.
Buchanan won both its girls meets, 24-31 over Coloma and 18-41 over Brandywine. The Bucks boys beat Brandywine 18-41, but fell to Coloma in a tie-breaker, 28 (38)-28 (41).
Brandywine also lost 19-36 to Coloma in its other girls' race. The Bobcats fell 19-44 to the Comets in its other boys' race.
Stephanie Halley of Coloma won the girls' race in a time of 23:46. Laura Kolis and Gina Sedsey of Buchanan came in second and third with times of 23:50 and 24:07, respectively.
Caylin Garrard was Brandywine's best runner at the meet, coming in fourth-place with a time of 24:51.9.
The Bucks' Harper Sulier won the boys' race in 18:47. Nick Wheatley finished third for Buchanan in 19:41.
Dan Devos was the top finisher for Brandywine, placing fourth with a time of 20:30.4.
He was the only Bobcats' runner in the Top 10.
