Lady Eddies, Rangers ousted at districts

NILES - Lakeshore won its first district championship in three years with an upset of No. 6 St. Joseph in the finals, 26-24, 20-25, 19-25, 25-23 and 15-8.
Lakeshore, an honorable mention selection in Class B, reached the finals with a 25-23, 25-21 and 25-16 victory over Lakeland Conference champion Coloma in the semifinals.
St. Joseph reached the finals with a 25-15, 25-15 and 25-17 win over Edwardsburg.
The Lady Bears defeated Niles in the opening round, 25-11, 20-25, 25-14 and 25-11.
The Lady Eddies reached the semifinals with a 16-25, 25-22, 25-18 and 25-12 win over Berrien Springs in the opening round.
Edwardsburg ends its season at 16-22-3.
Class C at White Pigeon
White Pigeon captured Class C championship at Centreville on Saturday with a 25-19, 25-21, 19-25 and 25-18 victory over Constantine in the finals.
The Chiefs reached the finals with a 25-18, 25-14 and 25-16 win over Centreville in the semifinals. Constantine made it to the finals with a 25-15, 25-18 and 25-15 victory over Cassopolis in the other semifinal.
