Dowagiac draws Coloma for district opener

PAW PAW — The Division 3 Boys’ District Soccer Tournament hosted by Paw Paw High School will get under way Monday with a trio of first round matches.

Dowagiac will host Coloma at 5 p.m. Monday with the winner advancing to Paw Paw Wednesday, Oct. 19 to take on South Haven, which drew a first round bye.

In the other half of the bracket, Brandywine will travel to Paw Paw to take on the host Redskins at 6 p.m. Monday. The winner moves on to the Oct. 19 semifinals to take on the winner of the Berrien Springs-Buchanan match.

The Shamrocks will host the Bucks at 5 p.m. Monday.

Times for the semifnals have not been determined, nor has the start time for the championship game Oct. 22.

Division 2

ST. JOSEPH — Niles will host the opening round of the Division 2 district tournament Monday at 5 p.m.

The Vikings will face Three Rivers with the winner advancing to the semifinals at St. Joseph High School Wednesday, Oct. 19 against the Vicksburg-St. Joseph winner at 7 p.m.

In the other half of the bracket, Lakeshore will host Edwardsburg at 6 p.m. The winner meets Mattawan in the semifinals at St. Joseph at 5 p.m.

The championship match is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22. No times has been determined.
