Four arrests in break-ins

Four South Bend, Ind., males — two 17 years old and two 18 years old — were arrested in connection with a rash of break-ins around Cass and Berrien counties in Michigan and St. Joseph County, Ind.
Michigan State Police Niles Post is investigating an attempted break-in Monday at 9:30 a.m. on Broderick Way, Milton Township, Cass County.
While enroute to the complaint, a trooper observed a suspect vehicle leaving the area.
A traffic stop was conducted and the occupants taken into custody.
Suspected stolen property was located inside the vehicle.
A witness identified the vehicle and occupants as being involved in the incident.
Troopers are working with other area police departments regarding other incidents.
Michigan State Police were assited by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Berrien County Sheriff’s Office and St. Joseph (Ind.) Police Department.
