Dugout scored in just two innings Wednesday night, but it was enough to edge Gallaghers 7-6 in the 11-12 year old division of the Niles-Brandywine Girls Softball Association.
Sam Low had a double and a single, while Cristina Wolfe also added a hit for Dugout.
Dugout starting pitcher Taylor Gordon struck out four batters and allowed no hits in four innings of work.
Trisha Teeter also pitched for Gallaghers, striking out six and giving up two hits. Holly Brocious added a hit offensively for Gallaghers.
Gallaghers was down two runs in the bottom of the six. The team scored to pull within a run, but couldn't even the score in the loss.
