Bill Camp of Niles and his 3-year-old Texas Heeler named Belle took first place at the Skyhoundz North Central Regional on Saturday, June 5, in Owosso.
Heading into the third round, Camp and Belle were in third place and needed a near-perfect score to win. The pair managed a score of 35.5 to pull off the championship.
The victory qualified Camp and Belle for the Skyhoundz World Championship on Sept. 25-26.
