Seventh arrest made from Escape Reality

CASSOPOLIS – On Monday, April 27, at approximately 9 a.m., another subject was arrested in connection with the investigation into illegal activities at the Escape Reality club on Pleasant Lake in Edwardsburg.
Misti Minnish, 29, of Stevensville, turned herself in to authorities on warrants for lewd and lascivious behavior and disorderly person.
She then bonded out on a $700 bond.
This brings the total arrested in relationship to this investigation to seven persons.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. previously reported that an investigation into illegal activities at Escape Reality, an adult entertainment club on Dailey Road, resulted in six arrests and a search warrant being served on the club at approximately 9 p.m. on April 22.
The search warrant and arrests capped a two-month investigation by the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and the Michigan Liquor Control Commission after complaints of narcotics dealing and prostitution at the club were received by both the Ontwa Township- Edwardsburg Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation resulted in a search warrant for the premises and warrants being issued through the Cass County Prosecutor's Office for a manager and five employees for various charges, including lewd and lascivious conduct, prostitution, delivery of cocaine and delivery of ecstacy.
Assisting at the time of the warrant service were deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office, agents from the FBI and the LCC and officers from the Ontwa Township-Edwardsburg, Dowagiac, Pokagon Tribal and Michigan State Police departments.
This is an ongoing investigation by both the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and the Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
