The Cassopolis varsity baseball team fell to 0-2 on the season with losses to Centreville and Constantine.
The Rangers dropped a 7-1 decision to Centreville after losing to Constantine in their season opener, 6-1.
Jason Rietveld took the loss for the Rangers against the Bulldogs. Cassopolis finished with nine hits.
Marcus Bass and John Solloway were both 2-for-3.
Rietveld also took the loss against Constantine. The Rangers finished with six hits in that contest.

Softball
The Lady Rangers are 2-2 to start the season thanks to a pair of splits.
Cassopolis split with Centreville and Constantine.
The Lady Rangers lost 7-1 to the Lady Bulldogs, but rallied to win the nightcap, 9-6.
In its season opener, Cassopolis dropped a 6-2 decision to Constantine before rebounding to take the nightcap, 2-1.
The Lady Rangers had five hits in the first game against Centreville led by Chaquitta Danzy's triple. In the nightcap, Marti Strain homered, while Cona Marshall and Megan Mathews tripled and doubled respectively.
Emily Larson was the winner for the Lady Rangers, while Danzy took the loss.
Larson worked four innings, allowing six runs on six hits. Danzy allowed six runs on six hits.
Against Constantine, the Lady Rangers finished with nine hits. Mathews doubled and Brittnie Hulett tripled. In the second game, Cassopolis had two hits.
Larsen picked up the win against Constantine, while Danzy took the loss.
