The 2004 Annual Charity Golf Outing of the Niles Service League will be held at Knollwood Country Club in Granger, Ind., on Monday, May 17.
Pre-registration is required to participate in the outing and payment must be received by Friday, April 30. There is a limit of 200 golfers. The entry fee is $80 per golfer which includes 18-hole greens fees, cart, lunch, beverage cart service, registration gift and dinner.
The outing will start at 11 a.m. with check in and pre-game contests and lunch will go from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Golf will begin at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start and the scores will be tabulated at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6-7 p.m. with awards wrapping up the day at 7 p.m.
The Charity Golf Outing is the largest fundraiser for the Niles Service League each year. All proceeds are used to fund scholarships for graduating seniors from Niles, Brandywine and Buchanan schools.
In the past two years the outing's sponsors have helped the Service League give more than $15,000 in scholarships to deserving students.
