Mobile, Ala. – The nation's third leading rusher is heading to Mobile.
Michigan State running back Javon Ringer has accepted an invitation to the Under Armour Senior Bowl, officials announced Wednesday.
Kickoff for the Jan. 24 contest is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be televised by the NFL Network.
Ringer has been the Spartans' workhorse this season, leading the nation in carries (370) and scoring (10.5 points per game), while ranking second in the country in rushing touchdowns (21). A first team Associated Press All-American, Ringer also racked up Walter Camp All-American honors this season and was a consensus first team All-Big 10 selection.
