DECATUR – The Buchanan wrestling team pinned its way to a pair of lopsided victories Wednesday night in Decatur.
The Bucks scored 10 pins and received eight forfeits in defeating White Pigeon 58-9 and River Valley 74-6.
Winning by pin for the Bucks were Taylor Glavin, Justin Fuller (twice), Josh Farrow, David Ferris, Jacob Ferris, Mike Connors and Robert Riggs (twice).
Winning by forfeit were Glavin, Jacob Hurd, Brent Brown, Andy Ketchum, Drew Medlin (twice) and Bryant Miller.
Winning by decision were Ketchum, Farrow, Adam Byrdak (twice), Miller, Jacob Ferris, David Ferris and Connors.
Brandywine Wrestling
BANGOR – The Brandywine wrestling team split a pair of matches Wednesday night.
The Bobcats defeated Gobles 84-0, but were defeated by host Bangor 42-36.
Winning matches for Brandywine against Gobles were Arthur Morris (forfeit), Jimmie Wright (forfeit), Bryon Fisher (forfeit), Adam Earles (pin), Ryan Probst (pin), Ralph Sater (pin), Ben Gerber (forfeit), Alex Humphrey (forfeit), Warren Watson (forfeit), Kyle Kelley (pin), Josh Hayden (forfeit), Brad Ritchey (forfeit), Taylor Ort (pin) and Justin Anderson (forfeit).
Winning against Bangor were Morris (pin), Fisher (pin), Gerber (pin), Watson (pin), Hayden (pin) and Ritchey (pin).
