NEW CASTLE, Del. – Jack Irving Boyd, 66, of 5105 Center Terrace, Wilmington, Del., went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 13, 2008, at Christiana Care Hospital, in the presence of his wife, children, the Rev. Dr. Christopher Alan Bullock and the Heavenly welcoming committee.
Bro. Jack Boyd was a proud member of Canaan Baptist Church.
Today he is a proud and joy-filled citizen in God's Kingdom, having entered into his Father's rest.
Survivors include: wife, Dorothy, of Wilmington, Del.; and children, Deborah (Jesus) of Richmond, Va.; Wayne (Michelle) of Indianapolis, Ind.; Fred of Wilmington, Del.; David (Angela) of Elkhart, Ind.; Melissa (Robert) of Hockessin, Del.; and Steven of Wilmington, Del.
Survivors also include: his mother, Annabelle Boyd of Dowagiac; brothers, Jim (Dana) of Portage and Bruce (Peggy) of Dowagiac; and sisters, Ernestine Ware of Barron Lake and Maxine Edwards of Dowagiac.
The funeral service will be at noon Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Alan Bullock officiating.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon at Canaan Baptist Church, 3011 New Castle Ave., New Castle, Del.
Ushers ritual will be at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, Del.
