Taxpayers should not have to keep General Motors afloat

To the editor:
As a toolmaker in West Michigan for over 20 years, I have an opinion regarding the possible bailout of General Motors (GM).
Their influence in the passage of trade deals such as NAFTA, GATT and CAFTA resulted in the loss of many American jobs.
They showed their loyalty to us, and all but openly told their American suppliers to "go to hell."
I, for one, feel no loyalty to GM and would be sorely disappointed to see American taxpayers have to keep them alfoat.
Let Mexico and China do it.
