6:30 p.m. – Fall lecture series at The Museum at Southwestern Michigan College features "Remember the Ladies: Woman's Suffrage in America" by Dr. Frances Porter Snyder, executive director, The History Center at Courthouse Square in Berrien Springs.
Thursday, Nov. 6
4 p.m. – Regular Cass County Board of Commissioners meeting in the commission chambers, 120 N. Broadway, Suite 217, Cassopolis.
Friday, Nov. 7
11 a.m. – Union High School's free senior citizen luncheon in the media center. There will be two serving times, 11 a.m. to noon and 12 to 1 p.m., according to teacher Linda O'Keefe. Menu: hot chicken salad casserole, salad, fruit and dessert. "We are fully funded by the generous Dowagiac foundation," O'Keefe said.
