Bucks take third in second tourney

The Buchanan varsity tennis team hosted the top two teams in Division 4 and a Division 3 team Saturday at its second indoor invitational of the season.
Ann Arbor Greenhills, which tied Buchanan for the Division 4 State title last year, is now ranked No. 1 in Division 4 and won Saturday's tournament with 18 points.
Jackson Lumen Christi is ranked No. 2 in Division 4 and finished second Saturday with 17 points.
Buchanan, which is an honorable mention team in Division 4, took third place with 12 points.
Petoskey, a Division 3 team, finished fourth with one point.
True Sulier, a freshman, was the only flight winner for Buchanan. Sulier took first place at No. 3 singles.
At No. 1 singles, Buchanan's Jose Gonzalez finished second. Buchanan's Jeff Eifler took second at No. 2 singles and the No. 3 doubles team of Doug Summers and Ryan Skene finished second.
Buchanan's next match is Wednesday at St. Joseph in non-conference action.
