The road warriors are headed north again tonight as the Dowagiac varsity football team travels to Plainwell for a match-up with Trojans.
The Chieftains (4-1) will be looking for two things tonight on the artificial turf at Plainwell – keeping their Wolverine Conference title hopes alive and moving within a game of qualifying for the post season once again.
Dowagiac is coming off a 27-6 victory over Comstock last Friday night in a dominating defensive performance.
The Trojans are coming in fresh from their second win of the season, a 21-0 pasting of winless Allegan.

Kyon Dorsey led the way for Plainwell with 63 yards rushing on 10 carries. Tim Burham had seven tackles and a sack on defense for the Trojans and scored on a 26-yard run.
Ray Johnson scored on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Adam Tustin and recovered a fumble in the end zone for the other score.
The Chieftains finished with 301 yards on the ground against Comstock last week, while it gave up just 138 yards in total offense to the Colts.
