It may have been humid out, but more than 1,100 runners braved the elements to take part in the 34th annual Steve's Run on Saturday morning.
Mary Ballinger of Chesterton, Ind. and Craig Padgett of Mishawaka, Ind. ran away with the indiviudal 10K titles.
Ballinger won the female 10K race by more than a minute, while Padgett won by 60 seconds exactly.
Ballinger finished with a time of 38:30. Ashley Name of Mishawaka, Ind. finished second with a time of 43::38, while Amanda Balk of Lakeshore High School took third in 43:48.
Padgett was clocked at 32:39 with runner-up Chad Ware of Mishawaka finished with a time of 33:39.
Tristan Mannix of Evansville, Ind. finished third with a time of 33:46.
