An informational meeting will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 3661 E. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor, for all girls interested in competing for Miss Heart of Blossomtime and Miss Teen Blossomtime.
Miss Heart contestants must be 17 to 21 years of age by March 9, 2009, and also a resident of a community that does not hold a preliminary pageant to Blossomtime.
Examples of communities that are eligible to compete are Dowagiac, Galien, Covert, Lawton, Lawrence, Three Rivers, Mattawan and Marcellus.
Miss Teen contestants must be 13 to 15 years of age by Nov. 23, 2008, and must be a resident of southwestern Michigan.
