The Dowagiac 11-year-old All-Star team finished third at the recently held Lakeshore Tournament.
Dowagiac lost in the semifinals to host Lakeshore 2-1 in the bottom half of the sixth inning.
Matt Smith and Brandon Hatch both tossed three innings, allowing one run each.
Smith had two hits and drove in the lone run for the All-Stars, which was scored by Scott Hassle.
In the opening game of the single elimination portion of the tournament, Dowagiac defeated North Lincoln 8-4.
Jeremiah Guernsey had a hit, three RBIs and a run scored to lead Dowagiac offensively.
Thomas Walterhouse scored a pair of runs, while Jared Hatch, Aaron Ward, Waterhouse, Brandon Hatch, Smith and Bryce Dodd all drove in a run.
Also scoring were Brandon Hatch, Hassle, Tyler Deuel and Aubrey Huston.
