City Council July 14 approved Mayor Don Lyons' appointment of Cynthia LaGrow of LaGrow Consulting to fill the economic development director vacancy on the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority Board.
Citizens addressed the council about the rough ride on Spruce Street behind the Donald Lyons Health Center and weeds on Martin Luther King Drive (S. Lowe Street) at Pokagon Street, where the late Willie Harrington wanted to erect school bus shelters for children.
Scherr told Mayor Lyons "it is one of our primary roads" to be paved.
