The Andrews University School of Business Administration will be offering an online master of business administration (MBA) beginning in August.

The online program mirrors the on-campus graduate degree and was designed with the convenience of its students in mind.

“A number of prospective MBA students have contacted us and expressed an interest to avail themselves of the high-quality MBA program offered by Andrews University, but are unable to come to campus because of job, home, family and other commitments,” said Allen Stembridge, dean of the School of Business Administration.

The program will consist of 11 courses (three credits each) and can be completed in a minimum of one year (with all prerequisites met). The last two courses must be taken as a three-week intensive on the campus of Andrews University and will culminate with graduation exercises. The mission of the program is to prepare students to hold responsible positions in domestic and international business, in government and for non-profit organizations.

“We believe that it is important for our online students to have the opportunity to feel part of the Andrews University family by spending these three weeks on our campus and then participating in the August graduation exercises,” Stembridge said.

A special tuition rate of $495 per credit hour will be offered to all accepted online MBA students. Applicants must meet university graduate admission requirements and have access to sufficient computer hardware, software and Internet connection.
