CASSOPOLIS — Cass County Prosecutor Victor Fitz and Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Wednesday announced that Angelique Elizabeth Osburn, 21, of Eau Claire, was charged with open murder  (MCL 750.316-C) involving the June 13, 2010, death of her infant daughter, Kaden Osburn.

Open murder provides for a variety of possible dispositions including manslaughter, second-degree murder and first-degree murder.

Angelique Elizabeth Osburn turned herself in on the warrant Tuesday and was to be arraigned in Fourth District Court at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
