NILES -- A quilt has been taken from the Niles District Library.
This quilt was on display as part of an exhibit of the work of the Niles Piecemakers. It was taken on or about the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 14, said Nancy Campbell, the library's director.
She said the quilt is about three feet by five feet. It features chickens and has a boarder of green, brown and gold. Campbell said the quilt is marked on the back in permenant ink with the name of the quilter, Linda Funnell.
