Mary Elizabeth Wikstrom, 96, of 1730 Regent St., Niles died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010 at The Willows Assisted Living Facility, St. Joseph of natural causes.
She was born May 18, 1913 in New Carlisle, Ind. She moved here in 1998 from Florida. She was a factory worker.
She married John Wikstrom in 1940 in Chicago. He died in 1999. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Elgie Hendershott; brothers, Harold, David, Harvey and Wayne Hendershott; and sisters, Edna Eggen, Doris Edwards and Dorothy and Hazel Hendershott.
She is survived by her brothers, Ralph Hendershott, of Niles and Clyde Hendershott, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sisters, Ruth Bedell, of Niles, Dolly Richmond, of Niles, Anna Mae Grechen, of Dowagiac and Shirley McKinley, of Lafayette, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home Inc., St. Joseph.
