Trio earns all-league status

Wolverine Conference co-champions Plainwell and Gull Lake landed five players on the all-conference team, which was released Tuesday.
Dowagiac had a pair of first team all-league members and one honorable mention pick.
Senior Katy Stuppy and sophomore Torie Lowe were named to the first team, along with Plainwell's Gracie Howrigon, Bianca Harmon and Hali Dolnik, along with Gull Lake's Carrie Grubius and Jamie Smith.
Also selected to the first team were Comstock's Taylor Reed, Otsego's Brittany Bently, Paw Paw's Jordan Boyer, South Haven's Mariah Hilliard and Three Rivers' Kimmie Vanschoick.
Dowagiac senior Kristy Cooper was an honorable mention pick.
