The engagement of Lauren Rose Davis of Yankee Lane, Edwardsburg, and Mark Edward Burkey of Kerlin Drive, Granger, Ind., is announced.
A wedding is being planned by the couple for the spring of 2008.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Albert "Buddy" and Kathy Davis, of Yankee Lane, Edwardsburg.
She graduated from Edwardsburg High School, with the Class of 2007 and is currently attending Southwestern Michigan College full time.
She is employed at Growing Kids in Mishawaka, Ind.
The prospective groom is the son of Daniel and Erin Burkey of Kerlin Drive, Granger.
He graduated from Penn High School with the Class of 2005 and is employed with Scott's Lawn Service.
