Niles-Buchanan YMCA Gators compete and fare well at swim meet in St. Joseph

The Niles Buchanan YMCA Gators swim team recently competed in a meet at St. Joseph.
Here are the results from the different age categories.
Competing in the Men's 8 and Under:
Spencer Fuller finished second in the 25-meter breaststroke and fourth in the 25-meter butterfly
Jason Furst finished second in the 100-meter freestyle and had two third place finishes in the 25-meter backstroke and the 25-meter breaststroke
James Norris finished first in the 100-meter freestyle. He also finished fourth in the 50-meter freestyle, and fifth in the 25-meter freestyle.
Parker Saladin finished second in the 50-meter freestyle and fourth in the 25-meter freestyle.
Trayton Saladin finished third in the 50-meter freestyle and fourth in the 25-meter freestyle.
James Ward finished third in the 25-meter freestyle.
Competing in the Women's 8 and under:
Allie Fuller finished first in the 100-meter individual medley, second in the 25-meter freestyle. She also finished third in the 50-meter freestyle.
Bekah Polega finished fourth in the 25-meter freestyle. She also finished fifth in the 50-meter freestyle, and sixth in the 25-meter backstroke.
Erin Polega had two second place finishes in the 100-meter freestyle and the 25-meter butterfly. She also took third in the 25-meter backstroke.
Emily Ward finished sixth in the 50-meter freestyle, and had two fifth place finishes in the 25-meter freestyle and the 25-meter backstroke.
Competing in the Women's 9-10 division:
Taylor Fuller finished second in the 50-meter breaststroke, fourth in the 50-meter freestyle. She also took third in the 200-meter freestyle.
Amanda Harlow took two first place finishes in the 200-meter freestyle, and the 50-meter freestyle. She also finished third in the 50-meter backstroke.
Emily Mills had all first place finishes in the 50-meter butterfly, 50-meter backstroke, and the 50-meter breaststroke.
Liz Panama finished second in the 200-meter freestyle, and the 50-meter butterfly. She also finished fifth in the 50-meter backstroke.
Kelsey Rankel had two third place finishes in the 50-meter freestyle and the 100-meter freestyle.
Competing in the Men's 9-10 division:
Mike Panama finished third in the 100-meter freestyle and the 50-meter backstroke. He also finished fourth in the 50-meter freestyle.
T.J. Polega had all first place finishes. He competed in the 50-meter freestyle, 50-meter butterfly, and the 50-meter backstroke.
Competing in the Men's 11-12 division:
Michael Rattenbury finished second in the 100-meter individual medley. He also had two first place finishes in the 50-meter butterfly and the 400-meter freestyle.
Evan Harlow finished second in the 200-meter freestyle, 50-meter backstroke, and the 50-meter breaststroke.
Ty Alexander finished second in the 50-meter freestyle, third in the 200-meter freestyle, and fifth in the 50-meter backstroke.
Competing in the Women's 11-12 division:
Kristine Gordon finished second in the 100-meter freestyle, fourth in the 50-meter freestyle, and fifth in the 50-meter backstroke.
Emily Harlow finished second in the 50-meter backstroke. She also had two first place finishes in the 50-meter freestyle and the 200-meter freestyle.
Lindsey McCarty finished first in the 50-meter butterfly. She also had two second place finishes in the 400-meter freestyle and the 50-meter breaststroke.
Carlee Rankel finished second in the 50-meter freestyle, and third in the 400-meter freestyle.
Competing in Men's 13-14 division:
Jacob Fuson finished second in the 100-meter backstroke. He also had two third place finishes in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter freestyle.
Competing in the Women's 13-14 division:
Megan Curry finished second in the 100-meter breaststroke. She also had two first place finishes in the 50-meter freestyle, and the 1,500-meter freestyle.
