PAW PAW – Dowagiac's 10-year-old All-Star finished third at the Paw Paw Tournament.
Dowagiac was defeated by host Paw Paw in its final game 16-6.
The All-Stars were led by Trenton Lesniak, Bryce Dodd and Scott Hassle, all of whom finished with two hits.
Dowagiac, which began play in the Berrien Springs Tournament on Sunday, also got hits from Jeremiah Guernsey, Matt Smith, Brandon Hatch, Thomas Walterhouse, Devon Brown and Aubrey Huston.
Jordan Hagemann and Huston both drove in two runs, while Dodd and Walterhouse were both credited with RBIs.
