The Dowagiac Middle School wrest-ling team did not have a good afternoon against visiting South Haven and Eau Claire.
Dowagiac had just six victories.
Winning matches were Anthony Russell and Matt Dodd.
Picking up a pair of victories were Tyler Frese and Steven Baylock.
"We wrestled well," Dowagiac coach Andy Crawley said.
Dowagiac is back in action on Wednesday when it hosts St. Joe Upton. Wrestling is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
The Chieftains will then compete in the Edwardsburg Invitational on Saturday.
