MARCELLUS – Earl J. Pompey Jr., 73, of 16973 Church St., Marcellus, passed away Monday afternoon, Jan. 29, 2007, at his residence following a two-month illness.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at Mater Funeral Home, Marcellus, with the Rev. Carl O. Wright, pastor of First Baptist Church of Decatur, and the Rev. Tyrone Pace, pastor of Second Baptist Church of Dowagiac, officiating.
Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Nicholsville.
His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
