South Haven sweeps DUHS harriers

Visiting South Haven swept a Wolverine Conference cross country meet from Dowagiac on Tuesday.
The Rams won the boys' division by a score of 15-47. The Lady Rams swept the top five spots as well to win 15-50.
Isaiah Frazier was the overall boys' winner with a time of 17:31. Ben Lewis and Jordan Brooks finished second and third with the identical time of 17:45.
Evan Bressler was the first finisher for the Chieftains. He took sixth place with a time of 19:34.
Jason Fryman was eighth with a time of 20:02, while Tony Saviano was 12th with a clocking of 22:20.
Brandon Wilson and Josh Kopaceski were 16th and 17th with times of 25:29 and 30:10 respectively.
Ellen Pearl was the girls overall winner with a time of 22:39. Logan Corey and Lauren Flower were second and third for the Lady Rams.
Chelsey Preston led Dowagiac with a time of 26:12. Savannah Eby was 11th with a clocking of 29:51, while Ali Hess (31:30), Kayla Saviano (32:49) and Katie Hewitt (33:23) rounded out the order of finish for the Chieftains.
Dowagiac will compete on Saturday in the Battle Creek Central Invitational.
