The Dowagiac cross country teams will head to Battle Creek on Saturday for the Lakeview Cross Country Invitational at Riverside Elementary School.
Brighton, Holt, Battle Creek Central and also Lansing Everett will join Dowagiac, which had to pull out of the Centreville Invitational earlier this year.
Also on hand will be Kalamazoo Central, Battle Creek Lakeview, Benton Harbor, Charlotte, Hastings, Battle Creek Harper Creek, Battle Creek Pennfield, Quincy, Bangor, Bellevue and Battle Creek St. Phil.
The teams will be divided into three divisions with five teams in both Division 1 and Division 2. Division 3 will have six teams.
The Divisions will be based on the size of the school.
The boys' varsity race will begin at 10 a.m., while the girls' varsity race will follow at 10:30.
There will be boys' and girls' junior varsity races at 11 and 11:35 a.m. respectively. The awards ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m.
