Visiting Lakeshore Thursday afternoon in a non-conference match at Hampshire Country Club edged the Dowagiac varsity golf team.
The Lancers shot 165 to nip Dowagiac by two strokes.
Peter Ware shot 37 to earn medalist honors.
The Lancers also got a 38 from Sam Bitterman, a 44 from Cory Bartz and a 46 from Kyle McKey.
Mike Hoff and Kevin Proshwitz, both of whom shot 41, led Dowagiac. Tanner Melvin finished with a 42, while Richie Hutchings shot 43.
Trent Fryman finished with a 52.
Dowagiac will return to Wolverine Conference play on Monday at Eastern Hills. Comstock will host the jamboree. The match starts at 4 p.m.
