There was a three-way battle for the championship of the Chieftain Invitational Tennis Tournament on Wednesday.
Host Dowagiac, Buchanan and Three Rivers were slugging it out for the title.
When the smoke cleared, Dowagiac was the odd-man out.
Buchanan and Three Rivers tied for the tournament championship with 11 points. Dowagiac was second with 10 points.
Constantine finished fourth.
Buchanan had three flight champions on Wednesday, while Three Rivers had three and Dowagiac two.
Winning championships for the Lady Bucks were Mary Martin and Brianne Weldy at No. 2 doubles and Dreitzler and Henry at No. 4 doubles.
Dowagiac's champions were Shelly Urbanski at No. 4 singles and the No. 3 doubles team of Samantha Stone and Jessica Robinson.
Lucas defeated Dowagiac's Calie Daniels in the finals at No. 3 singles, 6-0 and 6-0. Lucas toppled Alyssa Rumsey of Constantine in the opening round, 6-0 and 6-0.
Martin and Weldy defeated Dowagiac's Tonya Scherer and Elizabeth Kolden, 6-0 and 6-1, to win the No. 2 doubles title.
Dreitzler and Henry defeated Dowagiac's Kate Tyrakowski and Kristan Stelmasiak in the finals, 6-1 and 6-1.
Urbanski defeated Three Rivers' Leah Barnes in the finals at No. 4 singles, 6-2 and 6-0. In the opening round, Urbanski defeated Joey Dreitzler of Buchanan, 6-3, 6-3.
Stone and Robinson defeated Three Rivers in the title match at No. 3 doubles, 6-1 and 6-1. In the first round, Stone and Robinson defeated Buchanan's Jessica Welsh and Sam Haner, 4-6, 6-4 (10-8 tiebreaker).
