CASSOPOLIS – Cass County commissioners Aug. 3 approved the conversion of deeds microfilm to digital images for $26,085.80 by Graphic Sciences Inc. of Royal Oak.
The Register of Deeds automation project includes converting deeds microfilm to digital images, purchasing an imaging system and purchasing hardware, such as a scanner, computers and printers. Graphic Sciences submitted the lowest cost proposal meeting requirements from five.
Proposals were received from four firms for the imaging system.
Commissioners awarded that $150,543 contract to Tyler Technologies, Eagle Division Inc.
