First Ward City Councilman Junior Oliver said at the Jan. 25 meeting he hopes to see Dowagiac represented in Venture Quest 2010, a regional entrepreneurial competition sponsored beginning in August by Cass County Economic Development Corp. and Southwest Michigan Planning Commission.

“We’ve got a lot of empty buildings around here. We could probably come up with something to make an incubator,” Oliver offered.
