Kellie Montgomery of Niles Service League presents Jason Pompey of the Cass County Sheriff's Office with the department's portion of winnings from Niles Service League's Hometown Heroes contest.
Pompey collected the most donations in the contest.
The top 12 donation getters from area police and fire departments will be featured in a 2006 calendar.
The calender will be available for purchase at the Service League's Apple Festival booth for $12.
The Apple Festival runs from Thursday, Sept. 29, through Sunday, Oct. 2, at the Apple Festival grounds on N. 17th Street in Niles.
Proceeds from calendar sales will help the Niles Service League give scholarships, camperships and help provide local school children with needed items.
If anyone would like to purchase a calender but is unable to come to the Apple Festival, please contact Montgomery at 663-2210.
The Service League thanks FurnitureFind.com for donating a recliner and to all who took the time to vote and support their community.
