Due to a lack of participation, the Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce is announcing that the Dowagiac Mini Grand Prix for this year is canceled.
Grand Prix chairman Brad Yazel said "we are very disappointed that the Grand Prix won't happen this year and we thank those sponsors that did send in their applications, however, there was just not enough interest this year to make it much of a race,"
Vickie Phillipson of the Dowagiac Chamber echoed Yazel's sentiments and assured everyone that paid their registration in advance that a full refund will be mailed to them.
