CASSOPOLIS - Joseph S. Pecher, 90, of 69425 M-62 South, Edwardsburg, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind., after an illness.
A brother, Amos Petcher, preceded him in death.
Military graveside honors were to be conducted at 11 a.m. today, July 11, at Oakdale Cemetery, Vandalia, by Efton James Post 206 and William E. Lozier VFW Post 10704, both of Cassopolis.
Rev. Albert Cooper, pastor of The Lord's House, Cassopolis, was to officiate, with visitation conducted an hour before this morning's service.
Mr. Pecher was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
Connelly Funeral Home, Cassopolis, made arrangements.
