EDWARDSBURG – Visiting Brandywine managed just three hits in a doubleheader loss to Edwardsburg on Tuesday in Lakeland Conference play.
The Lady Eddies (14-12, 8-2 Lakeland) took the first game 10-0 in five innings and then completed the sweep with a 9-1 win in the second contest.
Lorin Thompson tossed a one-hitter with two strikeouts in the first game for Edwardsburg.
The Lady Eddies banged out eight hits against losing pitcher S Vaughn.
Debra Burton and Victoria Hurst both hit home runs for Edwardsburg, which also got a double from Aubrey Coquillard.
In the nightcap, Ashley Tackett tossed a two-hitter with four strikeouts.
The Lady Eddies had eight hits, led by Amelia Breslin's home run.
Brandywine's Delaina Schroeder had a double.
