The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of approximately $500 of narcotics, some stolen property and weapons while executing a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of E. Division Street in Dowagiac.
While assisting Dowagiac Police Department in a search warrant for stolen property at this residence, three individuals were discovered in the home, two of whom were charged with narcotics violations.
One individual was charged with possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, while the other was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
Both of these individuals were lodged at the Cass County Jail where they were awaiting bond.
Cass County Sheriff's Office deputies assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
The investigation involving the stolen property found at this residence is still open at this time.
