UNION - The Bed and Breakfast Association of Southern Michigan and Northern Indiana is sponsoring a Christmas open house for participating member inns on Sunday, Dec. 12 from 2 to 6 p.m.
The $5 per person charge to visit all, or some of the inns, will support the Family Resource Center in Cassopolis and its many projects which help the residents of Cass County.
Among those innkeepers who will be showing their hospitality and the personal touches of their Bed and Breakfasts are sisters, Judy Scott and Barb Wright, from The Union House.
The historic Victorian Union House had been decorated with antiques and special items from around the world, which the women have collected, and will be decked out for the holidays.
Their food is fast becoming the choice of many in the Edwardsburg community for catering, as they provide lunch for the monthly Edwardsburg Chamber of Commerce meetings.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Family Resource Center, 61682 Dailey Road, Cassopolis, or at the door of The Union House, 16104 U.S.-12, Union. Call (269) 641-9988 for more information.
Among those other participating inns are: The sanctuary at Wildwood in Jones; Whispers B&B in Three Rivers and Willow Glen Pond B&B in Sturgis.
