Martha Jean Hines, 66, of Wright Road in Niles, died at her home on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, with her family by her side.
In keeping with her wishes, she has been cremated and no services will take place.
She was born on June 25, 1942, to the late Lewie and Mary Lee (Preston) Tice in Henry County, Ala.
On Feb. 4, 1991, she wed Charles Hines, who preceded her in death.
She is also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Tice of Texas, Terry Spiker of Florida, Tina Todd of Florida, Beth Tice of Georgia, Ann Reed of Niles, Jean Carter of Niles, Lee Carter of Florida and Lynn Holiday of Florida and several grandchildren.
