In a double ring ceremony at Buchanan Christian Church, Brandy Lee Blaylock and Timothy Michael Wesner exchanged vows of matrimony on June 28, 2008.
The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Julie Blaylock of 312 Main St., Buchanan and granddaughter of Rosemary Brooks and the late Raymond Brooks of Dowagiac, Marge Blaylock and the late Billy Blaylock of Sister Lakes and John and Diana Reist of Dowagiac.
She graduated from Buchanan High School in 2003 and has earned an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Lake Michigan College in 2006. She is employed at Ottawa Elementary School as a health care aide.
Her husband graduated from Buchanan High School and is the son of Michael and Louanne Wesner of Buchanan and grandson of Gene and Jacky Wesner of Buchanan. He is employed as a parts manager for Gene Wesner Chevrolet in Buchanan. He is also a firefighter for Buchanan City Fire Department.
Officiating at the ceremony was Phil Weldy of Buchanan. Music was provided by organist, Judy Earnst. The flower arrangements were by Chuck Falkenstein. The bride wore a strapless a-line gown and veil and was given in marriage by her father.
Brother of the bride, John Blaylock of Buchanan served as Man of Honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Baumgart, Kari Burns, Jennifer Jahnke and Chelsy Roberts. Flower girls were Addison and Morgan Baumgart. Ricky Newman served as ring-bearer.
Cade Baumgart, friend of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Jahnke, Scott Newmann and Randy Passig. Ushers included Matthew Adams and Brandon Roberts.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the St. Joe Kickers Sport Club, Berrien Springs.
The couple honeymooned at the Sandals Royal Carribean Resort in Jamaica. They are presently living in Buchanan.
