For just the third time this season, the Brandywine softball team lost.
The Bobcats, ranked No. 3 in Division 3, suffered a 2-1 loss at South Bend St. Joseph's Thursday afternoon.
Brittany Bennett, in just her third start, took the pitching loss for the Bobcats. She is now 2-1.
Michelle Shoemaker doubled to lead Brandywine at the plate.
