NILES -- The Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce will begin the revision and enhancement of its www.nilesmi.com website on Sunday to provide its 600 members and the Greater Niles community better exposure and presence on the world wide web.
The new site will feature an interface that generates individual Chamber members' pages with updated information, contacts, and links. The site will also feature all of the community information included in the 46-page community wide marketing brochure debuted in late 2002.
John Grinnell, chair of the Flags Area Chamber of Commerce for 2003, elaborated on how the new site will directly benefit Chamber Members.
The newly-designed site will also include a variety of new information and interactive pages. A Recreation and Tourism section will provide a calendar of events so visitors and residents alike can keep abreast of the happenings. There will be a place to read past issues of the Chamber newsletter online. A pressroom will provide the media with access to local stories and photos of our area that are ready for publication. The new www.nilesmi.com site will begin development on Sunday with a completion date set for July 20.
