Janice R. Taberski, 77, of Niles, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at her home of natural causes.

She was born June 29, 1935, in South Bend. She married Walt Taberski on Dec. 27, 1952, in South Bend. He survives.

Also surviving are her son, Bruce Taberski, of Niles; daughter, Sue Ingle, of Dowagiac; brothers, Roger Schechter, of Shelbyville, Ky.; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Gladys Schechter.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Northwest United Methodist Church, 21855 Brick Rd., South Bend. Memorials may be made to Northwest United Methodist Church, 21855 Brick Rd., South Bend, IN 46628.
