Donald and Jeannine (Mundell) Severeid of Bell Road in Niles will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 8, 2008.
The couple were united in marriage at the First Methodist Church of Mishawaka, Ind. on Sunday, June 8, 1958.
The couple will celebrate with an open house on Sunday hosted by their children at Wesley United Methodist Church, at 302 Cedar Street from 2 until 6 p.m.
Mr. Severeid retired after 40 years as a land surveyor for Lang-Feeney Associates, South Bend Ind.
Jeannine retired after 30 years as an assistant manager at Indiana Bell Telephone Co., South Bend, Ind.
They have two daughters: Brenda (Michael) Lee of Muskegon, and Susan Severeid of Kalamazoo.
Mr. and Mrs. Severeid have made Niles their home for the past 44 years, moving north from Mishawaka, Ind.
