Prospective patients and community members are invited to meet the doctors and staff and see the newly remodeled office of Lakeland Family Medicine, Niles, during a summer open house from 4 to 6:30 p.m. July 12. The event will include refreshments, music and door prize drawings.

The practice, located at 4 Longmeadow Village Drive in Niles, is accepting new adult and pediatric patients.

Recently, Family Medicine doctors Dr. Doug Tacket and Dr. Tracy Tacket joined Dr. John Howard, Dr. Rosa Johnson and Dr. Ellen Tambunan at the Longmeadow location.

The practice will also serve as the base for a new Family Medicine Residency Program; Dr. Doug Tacket will serve as program director. Four resident physicians will complete their medical training over the next three years in both clinical and classroom settings and will be responsible for direct patient care while working in collaboration with the attending physician: Dr. Christine Zender, Dr. Kamil Krukowski, Dr. Adam Mitchell and Dr. Ashley Lepak.
