Morris D. "Morri" Hayden, 90, of Jones, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Borgess Medical Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a..m. Tuesday, June 3, at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Mark Vyverman as celebrant.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 2, at the Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers.
Interment will be held in Poe Cemetery, Newberg Township.
He was born to Albert and Amy (Bundy) Hayden on April 7, 1918, in Jones, where he spent the remainder of his life.
He graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1937. He was employed as a cost accountant by the Constantine Creamery Company for 39 years, retiring on Dec. 31, 1981.
He was a charter member of the Newberg Grange and a life member of all the York Rite Masonic bodies, Past Patron of Vandalia Eastern Star, Past Watchman of Shepherd of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Hayden was a fervent and faithful man who cherished his close friends and family, who strongly believed in the Lord.
His last wish was that those who pass by his final resting place in Poe Cemetery stop and remember him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George and Lawrence.
He leaves to cherish his memory his very close friends, Sharon Hansell of Niles, Melvin Monette of Cassopolis, Hazel and Bob Crosby of Jones, Jennie Hart, Judith Tucker of Jones, Pedro and Lois Zavala and Gary and Beverly Bonine of Dryden.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, St. Anne's Catholic Church or Jones United Methodist Church.
Arrangements were by Hohner Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
